GHRP-6

What is GHRP-6?

Snapshot: GHRP-6 (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide 6) is a hexapeptide that stimulates the body to secrete Growth Hormone (GH) while inhibiting somatostatin, a hormone that reduces GH release. GHRP-6 has been shown to increase muscle mass, reduce body fat, and improve strength and stamina by stimulating GH secretion. Additionally, it promotes the release of IGF-1 from the liver, which helps in muscle building and fat burning. It’s commonly used as an alternative to Growth Hormone supplementation for anti-aging benefits.

GHRP-6 targets the pituitary and hypothalamus, triggering the secretion of GH by inhibiting somatostatin. This action enhances overall growth hormone levels, aiding in muscle growth, fat reduction, and improved physical performance.

Potential Benefits

• Helps with weight loss without strenuous exercise or strict diets
• Improves stamina and energy levels
• Promotes a faster metabolism
• Enhances skin elasticity for a smoother, younger appearance
• Reduces sagging and wrinkles
• Boosts memory and concentration
• Promotes thicker, healthier hair
• Restores sex drive and improves performance
• Enhances immune function
• Improves sleep quality and supports growth hormone production during sleep

How Does It Work?

GHRP-6 stimulates the pituitary gland to produce natural growth hormone (HGH). It works by amplifying the signal that triggers GH release and by inhibiting somatostatin, which typically limits GH production. This dual action results in increased endogenous GH levels and overall improvements in body composition and performance.

Dosage

Content and Potency: 1 x 5mL at 2000mcg/mL ready-to-inject subcutaneous.

Suggested Dosage: 0.10mL daily for 5 days a week between 6 – 8pm (10 weeks supply).

Transdermal Option: 200mcg/mL x 50mL – Apply 1mL daily for 5 days a week (10 weeks supply).

GHRP-6 is typically administered 1-3 times daily, with dosages ranging from 150mcg to 300mcg per administration. For strength or performance enhancement, higher doses (300mcg 3 times per day) can significantly increase GH output. For anti-aging, lower doses (e.g., 150mcg before bed) are sufficient to maintain natural GH patterns.

Dosages should be adjusted under medical supervision, starting with a conservative dose and increasing as needed to avoid side effects.

Side Effects

The side effects of GHRP-6 are typically mild. The most common is a slight increase in appetite due to ghrelin stimulation. Other effects may include feelings of tiredness or lethargy, as GHRP-6 can enhance sleep quality. To mitigate this, many users administer GHRP-6 before bedtime.

Excessive doses may cause water retention or tingling in the hands and feet. High doses could also stimulate cortisol, ACTH, and prolactin, which may cause side effects in individuals with specific health conditions. Always monitor dosages carefully to avoid these effects.
